Free Parking for visitors to the McIntosh Gallery
is available daily. Need directions to that parking?
When coming to campus from Richmond Street,
please turn into University Drive at the Richmond Gates. Please
continue on University Dr until you cross Thames River and reach
the traffic light. Turn left at the lights onto Lambton Rd. Continue
on Lambton Rd until you pass the first stop sign. You will then
come to a three way stop with the Kent Drive Parking Kiosk on the
right (you will also see the Ivey School of Business and 3M Medical
Center). Tell the attendants that you are going to the McIntosh
Gallery and they will give you a parking pass. From there, proceed
straight veering to the right of University College (the large building
that is straight ahead when you enter the parking lot).Once you
pass University College, turn onto the small roadway to the left
where you will find two parking spots reserved for the McIntosh
Gallery, as well as the McIntosh Gallery.
When entering the University of Western Ontario's
campus via Western Road's main gates you will be on Lambton
Road, go half-way around the circle veering right and staying on
Lambton Road. You will come to a three way stop with the Kent Drive
Parking Kiosk on the left (you will also see the Ivey School of
Business and 3M Medical Center). Tell the attendants that you are
going to the McIntosh Gallery and they will give you a parking pass.

The Gallery's ongoing curatorial direction is not
based on media but is issue-oriented with a focus on issues of relevance
to our university community and the broader community of London
and region. To this end, we book two or three one-person shows
around a particular issue or theme, usually in a social or gendered
arena.
The challenge in every instance revolves around the
appropriate partnering of a work in a rigorous and revelatory manner
which can take additional research time. There is no deadline;
we accept proposals throughout the year however, please be aware
that due to funding strictures, we must work on a minimum 2-3 year
advance time frame.
If you would like to have your work considered, please
send a package including visuals (slides or prints), curriculum
vitae (CV) with exhibition history, statement, and any support
materials (reviews, catalogues) you deem appropriate. Materials
and visuals will be returned to you unless otherwise specified.
