In Memory of Agneta Dolman
1944 – 2024
We are deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of respected London artist, Agneta Dolman.
A graduate in Language and Linguistics of Stockholm University, she immigrated to Canada and studied at the School of Art and Design at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. It was here that she met her future husband and fellow artist, Doug. In London, they pursued their individual art practices and supported the local visual arts community.
In 2006, McIntosh Gallery was pleased to present her solo exhibition, Our Home and Native Land, which toured to six different southern Ontario galleries. Her work is also represented in our Collection with two major paintings.
