McIntosh Gallery kicks off the Fall semester with a public conversation with artists Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins about Three Dimensions. A brief artists’ presentation will be followed by a conversation with Museum London’s Sarah Munro and Devon Elliott. After the discussion, join us at the McIntosh for a Fall reception and experience Three Dimensions first-hand!
Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins have practiced sculpture, installation and media art since 2000. Jennifer Marman is a graduate of Western University. Daniel Borins is a graduate of McGill University. Both Marman and Borins are graduates of the Ontario College of Art and Design. Their work is exhibited and collected widely including the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Gallery of Ontario. They are represented by Cristin Tierney Gallery, New York; MKG127, Toronto; and Royale Projects, Los Angeles.
Sarah Munro is the Curator of Engagement and Outreach at Museum London in London, where she develops public programs and engagement initiatives for diverse audiences, hands-on interactives in exhibits, and community partnerships that make art, history, and contemporary culture accessible, relevant, and impactful. With a deep commitment to museums as platforms for social change, she specializes in programming that inspires curiosity and imagination through critical thinking and reflects the lived experiences of the communities she serves. For over three and a half years at Museum London, first as Coordinator of Youth, Family, and Outreach Programs and now as Curator of Engagement and Outreach, Sarah has worked to ensure that every program and initiative is engaging, community-focused, and inclusive.
Devon Elliott is the Curator of Education at Museum London. Since 2021, he’s coordinated education programming that reaches thousands of students every year. With a background in Public History and Digital Humanities, Devon loves finding and sharing playful, hands-on ways to bring art and history to life – from an arcade-style 3D object viewer in 3D Histories: A Closer Look to student-built furniture-turned-musical-instruments in Living Room Jam Sesh.
